At Volunteers Of America we provide comprehensive dementia services with the Validation method as our foundation. We deliver focused tools and resources that empower caregivers at home and in senior communities.

About Validation
Validation is a method of communicating with and helping disoriented very old people. It is a practical way of working that helps reduce stress, enhance dignity and happiness. Validation is built on an empathetic attitude and a holistic view of individuals.
Training & Certification Services
Volunteers Of America is pleased to make a variety of training and certification options available for our Validation program. These include:
- Associate Course
- Level I - Certified Validation Worker
- Level II – Validation Group Worker
- Level III – Validation Teacher
